Revolutionize the Classroom, Think SmartLink™

Thursday May 22

Remember classrooms back in the good old days? Crowded spaces, books and bags scattered about, not to mention those dreadfully uncomfortable desks piled on top of one another. Fortunately, today everything has changed—and for the better.

Premiering at the much-anticipated NeoCon 2008 World’s Trade Fair, The HON Company will introduce a new revolution for modern learning environments: SmartLink™ classroom furniture. Blending a meticulous study of what today’s educational environments need with a solid commitment to fine ergonomic design, SmartLink™ solutions inspire learning, create comfort and foster real growth in the classroom.

HON’s new line of flexible teacher stations, student desks, modular storage and wall rail systems offer a visually coordinated, whole-room solution for real-world teaching and learning styles. A total package for an ever-changing and increasingly interactive classroom, SmartLink™ provides the best utilization of space. It allows teachers to connect with their students and configure their classroom for a variety of learning environments. And, because HON believes that well-planned classrooms make for a more comfortable, stimulating experience for teachers and students, SmartLink™ is designed to look good and work great for years to come.

What is the main material used in the SmartLink systems? Wondering about durability.

Need to run it past the powers that be at my school, but the SmartLink™ line surely looks like it provides the best utilization of space and light years beyond what we currently have.

It's a combination of aluminum extrusions, steel side panels, painted MDF tops and hard plastic.
